The 2020 Under Armour Turf Games London Summer Festival is going to be OFF . THE . CHARTS
With 950 athletes competing at the Summer Festival in 2019, 2020 is set to see some 1500+ athletes compete across Corporate, Everyday and Elite Athlete Divisions. This year, it won't be 1 day, or 2 - but 3 days of competition - bringing together even more people to the Under Armour Turf Games Community.
Again, our summer home of Rosslyn Park in Barnes will play host to the 3 day festival on 18/19/20th June 2020

THURSDAY 18th JUNE
CORPORATE CHARITY CUP - It's time to unite the London and UK corporate scene in the world's largest functional fitness Charity competition all in the name of raising money for great causes. Thursday will play host to our second Corporate Charity Cup, starting at 4pm and going to 930pm, 80+ corporate teams will go head to head across a series of workouts. Think Adult Sports Day. We listened to feedback from our first corporate event this year, and will make sure the workouts are achievable, less technical and more 'fun' - no barbells, no heavy weights. Teamwork and tactics will be the key strategies in these workouts. You will be encouraged to bring down your whole office, while you are working out, they are cheering you on enjoying the bars and street food on offer.
Teams will be challenged with raising as much money as they can for our nominated charity partners. We would ask that each team aims to raise a minimum of £300. All members of the team must be employees of the business they are representing. All team members MUST be employees of the company they are representing.
TWO CHANCES TO WIN - For every £500 you raise as a team, you will get a 1/2 bonus point for competition day. At the Corporate Charity Cup on 18th June, there will be two winners - the team that wins the day purely based on the competition results and also the team that wins based on their competition result and then adding the fund raise points they accumulated through their donations.
FRIDAY 19th JUNE
ELITE ATHLETE 'FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS' - This was perhaps the highlight of the Summer Festival - Like 2019, we will again be kicking off the Elite workouts under lights. Athletes are to arrive by 5.00pm for a 6.00pm start. Teams will participate in minimum one workout on Friday night.
SATURDAY 20th JUNE
EVERYDAY/ELITE ATHLETE DIVISION - This is the main day of the festival which will see some 1000+ athletes and 3000 spectators converging on Rosslyn Park for what is quickly becoming a must attend event in the annual calendar. Athletes to arrive from 730am for a 930am start. Heats finished by 5pm followed by finals. AFTER PARTY until 1030pm.
All 3 days will have a festival vibe with multiple bars, street food, brand activation's and unreal music.
Corporate division - will be MIXED teams of 6 only
Teams to be either 3 males and 2 females or 3 females and 2 males. This will be one division - similar to an Everyday Athlete division - but more like an adult sports day - no barbell lifts, no heavy weights - just lots of teamwork and lots of fun. Teams can bring a third female athlete or third male athlete as a 'sub' should they wish and use throughout the event - making it a team of 6. Only 5 athletes working at any given time.
Everyday Athlete Division - teams of 5 athletes
MALE - 5 male athletes
FEMALE - 5 female athletes
MIXED - teams of 5 - either 3 males and 2 females or 3 females and 2 males.
Everyday teams can have no more than 2 people who have competed in the 'elite' division/made an elite final previously - at any event. We do ask that you respect the divisions and don't 'stack' your team just to win it.
Elite Athlete Division - teams of 5 athletes
Elite Athletes must be able to be at Rosslyn Park by no later than 5pm on Friday the 19th for a 6pm start
MALE - 5 male athletes
FEMALE - 5 female athletes
MIXED - 3 males and 2 female athletes ONLY
