2020 LONDON SUMMER FESTIVAL COVID-19 MEASURES

We would like to thank each and everyone in our community for the continued support during what has been a roller coaster 2020.  From all those that took part in Home Games Series, taken part in our Preseason Training Programmes, to anyone who has liked, commented, messaged or introduced a friend to the Turf Games community - THANK YOU!

Now, we have some GOOD NEWS! Our previously postponed 2020 London Summer Festival, the highlight of the fitness calendar, has been rescheduled to September 19/20th 2020.

There will be some changes to the event (see HERE) and the event will be run adhering to government guidelines and social distancing measures.

COVID-19 PREVENTATIVE MEASURES AT OUR EVENTS

As a functional fitness community that runs events all over the UK and the world, the health and safety of our team, athletes, guests and partners at our venues is paramount to our operation.

We continue to pride ourselves in a high standard with the safe operational running of our events and over the coming period this will become even more important.

We are constantly listening to government advice and speaking with all our event stake holders to ensure our Turf Games events comply with guidelines and health and safety protocols.

HOW WE WILL KEEP EVERYONE SAFE

Before relaunching our 2020 Summer Festival, we have thoughtfully considered the safety risks to those attending. Today, we want to provide you with resources and information to let you know the measures we will be implementing to make sure the London Summer Festival is as safe as possible to limit the risk of transmission.

PRE ATTENDANCE AND OFFICIAL SYMPTOM CHECK

All athletes, officials, volunteers and those in attendance must undergo a self-assessment for any COVID-19 symptoms. No-one should leave home if they, or someone they live with, have symptoms of COVID -19 currently recognised as any of the following:

  • A high temperature
  • A new, continuous cough
  • A loss of, or change to, their sense of smell or taste

We will support the NHS Test and Trace efforts by keeping a temporary record of all participants and attendees at the Summer Festival for 21 days and support NHS requests for data if needed.

We ALL have a shared responsibility to ensure that the above is followed in the correct manner to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.  If we adhere to the above we have no doubt that all those in attendance can have a safe, and phenomenal day out at the 2020 London Summer Turf Games with the fitness community and we can all come back stronger from what has been a challenging year.
