WHAT IS TURF ENGINE?
Turf ENGINE first dropped in 2021 at our London Summer Festival - and it hit hard. Built around the four core machines (ski, bike, row, air bike) and broken up by 400–500m run intervals, ENGINE quickly became a staple alongside our biggest festivals around the world.
As ENGINE continued to grow, it became clear: this deserved its own stage. So now, for the first time ever, we’re taking ENGINE to Singapore - launching a standalone event in the heart of Singapore. Welcome to ENGINE .
This is a true Functional Fitness Race, designed around the foundations of Turf Games itself: strength, conditioning, power, and teamwork. What does that look like in practice? A blend of running, functional movement, and machine work - programmed to reward balance.
ENGINE isn’t a running race.
It isn’t a lifting competition.
It’s the space in between.
A full-spectrum test that levels the field and favours the well-rounded athlete - the ones who know how to control pace, manage fatigue, and push their engine when it matters most.

ENGINE strips it back to what matters. No complex skills, no barriers to entry - just running, work, and grit. Whatever your fitness background, this is a race built to be accessible, competitive, and open to anyone ready to test their engine and join the Turf Games community.

PRIZES
The Pro category will have cash prizes for the overall fastest (not the fastest in an each age category)
- Pairs - male / female / mixed - $600SGD
- Individual - male / female - $350SGD
All age group podium placings for both Open and Pro will receive a podium flag each.
Overall winners in Open in each category will receive a small partner prize pack.
AGE DIVISIONS
Individuals and pairs will have the below age divisions
- 15 - 29
- 30 - 40
- 41 - 50
- 51 +
Please ensure when registering you have your correct date of birth on your Circle21 profile. The pairs age bracket will be the average of your ages - i.e. if you are 30 and your partner is 50 - your average age is 40 so you will be in the 35-40 age category. If you make the podium you will need to show your ID to verify your age.
Teams of 3 will have one age category
FORMAT & TIMINGS
Turf Engine is a race - you will be given your heat wave time up to two weeks prior to the event and complete your race. You will complete all runs, all machines and all movements in one flow - as per the workout.
COMPETING DAYS
- Saturday 17th - Male and Female Pairs and Male and Female Individual
- Sunday - 18th - Mixed Pairs, Male and female teams of 3
HOW TO ENTER & PRICING
The competition will be run on the Circle21 website and app with team entry going live on Tuesday 17th August at 7pm SGT.
Turf games will donate $10 from each athlete entry to the Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) charity.
Earlybird pricing will be open until 8pm 23rd August only
- Individuals - $140aud (+platform fees)
- Teams of 2 - $260aud / team of 2 (+platform fees)
- Teams of 3 - $360 aud / team of 3 (+platform fees)
Early Bird will close at 8pm on the 23rd August, then prices will be
- Individuals - $155aud (+platform fees)
- Teams of 2 - $290aud / team of 2 (+platform fees)
- Teams of 3 - $399aud / team of 3 (+platform fees)
All athletes taking part will get an exclusive Turf Singapore 2026 Engine Athlete patch.
*Team entry is non-refundable unless the event date is changed or the event is cancelled.
Your ticket cost also includes spectator entry to both days of the event.
This event is about pacing - you come out of the gates too 'hot' and you will be in the hurt locker quite soon. You have plenty of time to train leading into the event - find a pace that you can hold comfortably for a distance and stick to your plan.
