LONDON SUMMER 2019 WORKOUT KXU ARENA - FLIP AND ROLL

This workout featured in the KXU Arena at the 2019 Summer Festival - Everyday Division

FLIP & ROLL 

Flip that tyre! The bigger the tyre the bigger the score! 

TIME CAP – 5min 

Each team has two tyres. Large 300kg, small 180kg. 

On go, minimum 3 athletes flip the large tyre in a Spartan formation down the track.  In order for the track length to be complete, any portion of the tyre needs to cross the line. Once the tyre crosses the line, athletes must flip the tyre up on its side and roll the tyre back to the start to begin the next length. 

At the same time the smaller tyre is flipped back and forth in a stationary position by 2 athletes.  Each flip is worth 1 point. Teams may swap athletes between either tyre as they wish. 

SCORE = Total Points

 Large tyre - 1 full length - 10 points (5 points up and 5 points back)

Small tyre – 1 flip – 1 point 

STANDARDS 

A part of the large tyre needs to cross the line before it can be rolled back.

The tyre needs to be flipped in a Spartan formation – minimum 3 people at a time.
